Well, we'll see what happen with the landfall of Hurricane Ike which apparantly did serious damage to much of the Texas coastline cities and will do damage elsewhere as well. I pray for the people who have and will be affected by this serious storm.
We have other storms to contend with too folks. Political and economic storms prevail as well. So, these are unusual times to say the least.

Hey, for you motorcycle riders out there....On Sept 13 (saturday), I was driving to Tucson, AZ to pick up a motorcycle with my van and trailer and I came across a rider parked on the side of the road whose motorcycle had stopped running. She was fine..but the point of this message is that she was riding with her husband who was on his own bike and apparantly had been riding several miles ahead of her so he didn't even know that she wasn't behind him riding anymore. Anyway, I offered to load up her bike in my trailer and to proceed to her destination but she didn't want to leave there as she was sure he would come back. Ultimately, he did as I saw him riding back (she had told me what he was wearing and what kind of bike), but she probably should have taken the offer as they weren't going to get that bike going again without proper diagnostics. I had given her a fresh, cold bottle of water and anyway....God Bless Them and I hope they're ok.
The point?????? If you are actually riding with other riders, stay close enough together so each of you knows whats going on with the other rider. This poor woman should never have been put in that position where she was stranded alone....especially with her husband riding with her. Personally, this was a very large woman...about 6' 1" and 300 lbs. Personally, she should hit him on the side of his head with her helmet but that will be up to her....................lol.
Well, I really hope to play some serious tournies this year (2008). That will remain to be seen and I hope to see some of my poker friends at the various places of play. For those of you that like omaha 8 or better (high-low), there are some great low limit games in Albuquerque, New Mexico at Sandia Casino (4-8 with a half kill). About the only thing wrong with this game is any sweeper regardless of how small the pot was constitutes a kill. They really need to put in a minimum pot amount before the kill is in place...such as $40 or something similar. Tucson, Arizona also has a very lucrative omaha 8 game at the Desert Diamond Casino if memory serves me correctly. My favorite game which is a medium limit stud game isn't played at Casino Arizona in Phoenix anymore. What a shame. That game was wonderful for me. Oh well.
